CRUDE OIL ANTI-TURBULENCE ADDITIVE
ALPHA-OLEFIN COPOLYMER (DRA-038N)
DESCRIPTION:
Crude oil anti-turbulence additive (drag reducer) is an ultra-high molecular weight polyalphaolefin. DRA-038N is a non-aqueous suspension product and is thermally versatile, so it can be used in the environment with the temperature range from -55 to +40℃. The numerous tests proved that the DRA-038N has no negative impact on the petroleum products’ quality.
Purpose:
Crude oil anti-turbulence additive increases the capacity of the pipeline and reduce the operating pressure on it.
Efficiency:
Drag reduction rate up to 59.1% (based on Technical-Chemistry Institute); operating pressure reduction by 40%- 50%, depending on the condition of the pipeline and the quality of the refined products.
Storage and use:
When stored in a ventilated, dry place at -10°C to + 35°C in a tightly closed container, DRA-038N will be stable and keep its quality for one year.
When handling the DRA-038N, protective gloves and protective work clothing must be used. It must be mixed well before applying. For the more info on first aid, firefighting, and transportation, please check MSDS.
